Very great first entry! I only think you should get rid of the background, because it distort the perspective of the duck. Also the rubber duck is probably found on google images (I found it on the first page), the most images found on google are copyrighted so it's better to use stock photo's (check http://www.photoshoptalent.com/photoshop-links/ for stock photo sites). As least I want to say that the shadows are excellent, great job.
