I used a picture of the ocean on the interent, and a picture of my hand, the rest is the source, including the ocean in the far background and the beach.

the rescue tube is lookin a bit wierd and out of place and the perspective is a bit off on the chair

I changed it to my hand instead of the lifesaver because i found out it was copywritten. I left the chair at it's perspective on purpose because its supposed to look like you're seeing the original image from the ocean, and that the beach is rounded.

One of the best idea's i've seen in this contest. Only the line between the hand and the water need some improvement, maybe make the rest of the arm underwater visible, with a lower opacity.

I went to go change it like you suggested and then I noticed that it was too late for me to re-enter it, but thank you for the suggestion, it really did look better, too bad it was too late.
