Entry guide: step 1 of 6

I created each font on a separate layer I used the tutorial found on this page (http://www.oman3d.com/tutorials/photoshop/video/3d_text.php), After do this I added highlights on each font layer, I used paint brush and then reduced the opacity on each highlight to give light direction. Then gave each layer a texture kept the blending to normal and opacity @ 24% and then put a mask to remove unwanted texture.

I removed the texture and used magic wand to select the face of each font, used copy paste while still selected I pressed alt + delete to fill in with the foreground colour which was black, while still selected pressed control + T to go to free transform and then adjusted each blacked out layer to lay down to look like the fonts shadow (kept the blend mode @ normal the opacity 39% then added a Gaussian blur to remove the hard edges.) then placed each layer behind the appropriate font.

Placed shadows behind the “T” to make it look like its casting a shadow on the “S” and a shadow on the front right hand side to make it look like the top of the “T” is casting a shadow

Cut out the mushroom copied then pasted ,extended the stalk into the mushroom used filter/distort/shear to add a slight wave, used the lasso tool to select the front ridge of the mushroom then copied used paint brush to put a shadow on the mushroom opacity 55% then pasted copied layer then used the eraser tool with soft edge to take the hard edge of the bottom of the mush layer.

On the mushroom I did the same as I did with the fonts , the way i selected it was clicked on the mushroom layer then went to select/inverse which select just the mushroom.
Entry guide: step 6 of 6

Added copy of mushroom layers I use free transform tool to alter shape to get rid of repetitive work not always perfect but helped. I need placed a mask on to remove edges to try and get rid of the similarity between the mushrooms, placed grass on separate layers so I could have them behind the shrooms or in front, cut out the leafs on the fern and placed on the new image, I again used old faithful free transform added shadows, used paint brush and drew the vines by hand then used leaf brush (http://graphics-illustrations.com/2007/07/26/download-free-photoshop-brushes-ivy-leaves/ )
