I tried smoking a salmon once but I couldn't keep it lit. I wonder why this is so high in the frame? It crowds the top and would have been more pleasing to me more centered in the blackness.

Thanks for the suggestion! I suppose it could be cropped some but I sorta like it off-center in the format. Dead center would make it too balanced I think.
