I disagree about the flipping. If this is a high five and the person is using his right hand and it is the statue's right hand, then this is correct, or am I missing something.

Your right laulei, the guy has his right hand up and the statue's hand is also right hand, thats the way to do a high 5, Ya Ya.

i think it looks fine the way it is. other people were probably thinkin of the picture as an ET hand touching sorta thing.
