Gr8, i think it looks more real if you create buble coming out of the pipes and gradually reduces the size of the bubles as they go top.

Nice idea. You can find many tutorials for bubbles on web, you create a brush of one and use the "Brush tools" to alter size and hue etc.

That's exactly that i did, look at the source and the bubles size. But i've not separated the bubles of my source brush, it's why buble look like themself. i wouldn't spend time on it.
