I used the burn tool and altered the color of different selections of the fruit to make the fruit look as if it had rotted. Then I deleted different sections of the leaves to make them look as if they had been chewed on by bugs.

the burn on the skin looks more like shadow than rot. would be better to contrast it more.

too much fresh orange colors left in - oranges rot on the outside, too, but nice burn on what you did do.
