Sometimes less is "more" author. I think having the golfer on the table and blending the grass with the felt of the table like hilleke suggested would look really cool.

You have a slight issue in terms of shadow. The only visable light source is from behind the golfer, yet his cast shadow is pointing towards the light source. The shadow should probably be in front of him. Otherwise, nice work.
