I can see you're new on this site. Don't worry. Your skils will be better for a while. On this site thanks to contest you have better motiwation to improve your skils I'm new too and my pictures isn't good yest but i'm getting better and better.

on the base fo the fingers, try to use the clone stamp tool or the healing brush to link the fingers on the hand. On the other side, pay more atention on cuting objects like the hands. Try to cut the hands with a litle feather. You can get the color right by playing a litle with Color Balance and Brightnes/Contrast and also with the Curves option. I hope this will help you.
