original image

Entry guide: step 1 of 5

Select the pilot house and copy it to its own layer.
Entry guide: step 2 of 5

Add the background image behind the pilot house.
Entry guide: step 3 of 5

Use Filter>Blur>Average on the background image to get the overall cast.
Eyedrop the color and undo the blur.
Copy the pilot house to a new layer and fill that with the cast color.
Set the layer to Soft Light.
(you can also use this with Image>Adjustments>Invert to remove a color cast)
Entry guide: step 4 of 5

This should match the color cast of the pilot house to that of the background, roughly.
Entry guide: step 5 of 5

Now, you can use another layer set to darken to clone/heal the blown out white areas and set it to about 50% opacity in order to reduce the effect of the brighter sky in the original image, bringing the overall mood more in line with the stormy sea.
Walk away, come back and see if it still looks right, and tweak as needed. :D
