Entry guide: step 1 of 3
Apologies to all Bush fans for the use of his likeness to create the Joker but his is a face that lends itself to exageration. Liquify, dodge and burn.
Entry guide: step 2 of 3
All shapes, stick and body were drawn in Illustrator then dodged/burnt to create 3D effect. The rest of the cards were recreated in PS. Joker head tassles are made from a skull and the top of the staff is a steer skull.
Entry guide: step 3 of 3
Shapes were multiplied to create a sort of psychodelic background. Many layers were made to get this effect.
