7-steps guide for Orb:

Entry guide: step 1 of 7
Started out by simply adding a layer mask to the hands.

Second step was to desaturate the image.
Entry guide: step 3 of 7
thirdly, a background i had created was brought into the image.
Entry guide: step 4 of 7
The orb was then created. along with a color layer set to color burn, and a lens flair added to that layer.

I then added and unsaturated layer of the hands and set the blending mode to overlay.

i then added the smoky/lightening bolts or whatever you want to call them.

lastly i added two more color layers, one blue with the blending mode set to Vivid light and an opacity of 34%. and the second was a bluish green set to multiply with on opacity of 25%
