How I made the taxi:
Started out by masking the taxi with a simple vector mask.

Added the polaroid paper. Made a guide by pasting a square into Vanishing Point to get the perspective right. The paper is made with a color adjustment layer with a vector mask.

I added the platform by copying the taxi layer and mask that with a vector mask as well. Because the two layers are exactly over each other you can't see which one is which...
Added a shadow to the paper as well...

I dimed the reflections a little with a back layer on the lightest spots.
With a color layer with a gradient I masked the windows to hide the inside/reflection...

Finally added a shadow and a reflection from the phone booth...

How I made the bridge:
First placed the source and flipped it.

I vector masked the two squares where the photos would be. Played around to get the right position...

Added the polaroids. They were made by eye. Didn't have a guide for those...

Added the shadows to place them in the scene...

Channel masked the top of the bridge. The streight parts were masked with a pen and the polygonal lasso tool ("The evil lasso") and the wires with a simple brush. Took a while...

Finally added a shadow made by eye. Isn't perfect, but...
