Unfortunately, a lot of saps gathered to witness Spruce Springseed get cut down in the prime of his life. The cremation that followed actually smelled pretty dang good.

there actually were a lot more steps that four...I just got carried away like a tumbleweed in a sandstorm...I used distortion to fit the face into the trunk and cloned a layer of the original tree over the face using several masking opacities I painted the face into the tree. Then hearing screams from outside, I ran out and rescued several people from their burning cars, gave CPR to one and waited for the paramedics to arrive...sure enough, a pair of medics arrived and I was able to come back inside and do the final touch up work on this entry.

theone...this photo was snapped seconds after Spruce Springseed was cut down...he was still in shock...two minutes and five seconds later he did cry...but, my camera malfunctioned.
