avatar madamemonty Yeh I 'spose... with an old one string diamond shaped kite you would run to get lift off... but a 2 stringed kite is always kept in front of you so you can manoeuvre it! ... I fly...

avatar Claudiolky gorgeous!!! I suggest you to resize your work (now 600X800). Change by 450X600. And another think: a shadow from the lines..but very soft (not an easy work my friend).

And, change the direction of the kite shadow, now is wrong

avatar Derivatix cool stuff! But the girl is not running, she just enjoys the sun on her face knowing the kite behind her is well up in the air. If she was running (what I thought of first, too) then there would be footprints in the sand behind her. I agree on the shadow of the kite though. The way it is up in the air and the sun I think it should be narrower, almost a thick line on the ground, and it should be on the other side. My personal oppinion, look at the background, the sun comes from the right. You should flip the girl horizontally, the shadow on her does not compare to the background.

avatar digitalmacabre not bad work, but shadows is not very good its not act compatibile with other composition and hair under hat is not good too. be more carefull with details, because than is not perfect work...

avatar arielnine Very clever ! nice use of the source ! but there is, like they said, something wrong with the shadow, I think it's a hard job because the sand is perfec... maybe if the sand has more texture and imperfections, your shadow could look better... just an idea, I know it could take lots of extra work....

avatar Derivatix Aw, I liked the other one a ton better! The girl now looks out of place, the kite made sense to her arms, the ice cream does not convince me. The guy looks too bored with the kite, the girl gave the image a special feeling! PLEASE, can we have the other one back?
