Take original image and remove the sky and trees.

Take dark cloudy sky image and add it as a layer. Push to the back.

Darken clouds with burn tool and merge. Unsing the clone tool blend the bushes and sky together so you don't see white.

Using brushes, tubes, or other images add in dead trees, bird, grass, etc.

Using the burn tool to create holes in the walls.Using the burn tool begin darkening different places on the image.
