The making of Where am I?!?!, step by step...

I Selected the grave and the warped it down to make a shorter headstone.

At this point i added the cracked earth source over the arms and hands. i changed the blending mode to mutiply and the applied a layer mask and masked out the edges. Then I burned the edges the give depth. applied a gussian blur and erased the center to add more depth. i then cut it from the background. added it to the main pic...

I changed the blending mode of the background and added a bit of piled dirt around the base of the arms. then i erased a bit of the white sky with a very soft brush and a layer mask.

Here is the dirt pile, out of order.

I then selected parts of the skins and used the warp tool to "rip" the skin a bit exposing the bone underneath.

Here is the bone.

At this point i added the sky behind the background layer and blended it more evenly. then i added the engraving to the stone. I then added a few ajustment layers and darkened the whole image to set the mood and the added another to change the tone to Sepia using a Photo filter adjustment layer!

Upon suggestion i added better shadow and added a new adjustment layer to ad a slight blue tinge to everything and painted away to parts i didnt was to be blue. (As in parts the moonlight wouldnt hit)
