I decided to start with a clean canvas so to speak.

step 2 of 7

I created a checkerboard pattern, then used free edit and perspective to make it into a road, and the added drop shadow to allow it to float over the ground and add a element of danger to the image.

Used some brushes to add the dead trees to give a desolate look to the landscape.

Then I added another layer filled with black and added stars with brushes from Lady Victoria, then erased the lower part of the layer.

Then I added the character, this was imported from Stock Exchange.

Then I photographed my hand, cut it out and adjusted color/contrast and levels, added another layer behind if so I could add an outer glow properly.

Then added the celestial eye.

Just some fun stuff to fill time between projects.
