Sorry I did not do this as I built the image I had to reconstruct the steps. Total count was about 75 layers.

Step 1 was creating the basic shapes to work with.

Forming the basic shapes into torso (C), arms, legs (D), stool legs (E), head (F G), stool seat (H) and lips (I J) Use the pen to isolate and highlight/shadow lips (K)

Hand assembly

the robot and stool, this totaled 37 layers after the hand layers were merged.

Draw the walls and floor and add texture

Add lots of dirt, grime and wear. This is my commentary on constantly underfunded schools.
