Re: BULLET HOLES
All you can do is red flag them and hope they will be removed.
Mods removed an image I red flagged just some weeks ago because I thought it was tasteless (it had a kitten in with a swastika armbrace and matching moustache). It had been removed. I'm not going to take 100% credit for it (could have been removed anyway) but I reached my goal.
I think it's to all off us to protect good taste, doesn't mather if it's blood, bulletholes, religion (including mine: ateist), racism, nudity, childabuse or anything else like these. If you're upset by any entry just say so, put it in a comment (this does take courage but you'll be respected for it) so others will come forward and support you and just give it a red flag and tell the mods why.

Re: New/improved features you wanna see on PST? Post them here!
I love the new look of PST, would it be possible for the main bar " home, my stuff, etc" to stay at the top of the window when you scroll down? At the moment you scroll to the bottom of the page and have to scroll back up again to get to the main bar again. If the main bar was stationary within the window, it would be easier.

Re: "vote and come back here"
If other images have been downloaded while I was voting I am very occasionally returned back to the contest to vote on the images I had missed. I use Internet Explorer 7.

Re: Tablet Question
I agree....i used to have a tablet that was a A6 size the smallest there is. I now have a A5 2ce as big as the old one and i prefer this one. But the A6 one worked fine for me too. The bigger the better off corrs but the small ones are just fine aswell.

Re: New site design
Think that's just a transition isue Stofvinger, the old style used smaller thumbs and the new one bigger once so next week all thumbs will be bigg size. The moment you submit an entry a thumb is created as well in a specific size. With the number of entries ever made and thumbs coming along with them it would be a big job to resize all the old thumbs I suppose. Just a waste off time in my view.
It's just this weeks entries, so don't worry about it.
Just correct me if I'm wrong MM

PS newbies: ask your questions here...
Hiya,
If you have any TECHNICAL questions about photoshop, you can ask them here:
http://www.photoshoptalent.com/photoshop-questions/
It's a new subsection where people can ask and answer questions about photoshop functionality.
If you are experienced with photoshop, we encourage you to answer questions that are asked here. They do need to get approved first before they become visible though.
It's completely empty now, so if you do have any questions, go ahead and ask something to get it going

Re: Is a FASHION?
I am really frustrated and wish to vent. Those of you offended by verbal diarrhea should skip this post.
I have been trying to observe for a while before saying too much about this topic but now wish to express my feelings.
In a source contest, an SBS is required. I am guessing that it is to prove the source was used. Some members leave comments on contest entries saying that the SBS is not the place to show that you have used the PST source. If it were clearly visible...why would there be a need for an SBS anyway? Why post these comments as if they were fact when they are not listed in the guidelines.
[i:3376ad6y]From guidelines-[/i:3376ad6y]"[b:3376ad6y]Contests with source images:[/b:3376ad6y] In a source contest it's mandatory to use the source image in your entry. Not only use it, but also manipulate it in some way. Simply using a fantastic image and pasting the contest source on it will probably still look good, but it's not really photoshopping anything."
Until it is changed, it is not a requirement to leave the source clearly visible, only that it be used and be manipulated in some way. One's inability to recognize another's use of the source without looking at the SBS doesn't warrant a comment. Stating that the SBS isn't the place to prove use of source is not mirrored in the guidelines. Neither of those types of comments are useful to the author and should not be posted. Keep your opinions by all means and vote accordingly. Just don't blather on someones entry in some self fulfilling prophecy!

Re: Image ownership and copyright question.
I think that copyright infringing is a serious thing, but becoming a PST vigilanty is not a desirable thing either. Leave the job to the Moderators, that is what they are there for. Try to remember that people make mistakes as do you! I have forgotten URL's from time to time and I try not too, but sometimes the fingers think quicker than the brain. I have posted artwork and gone away for a week here and there from my computer. I'm glad I had posted URL's on those entries, as I would never had responded in time to any Moderator emails. Just ease off a little, I think is what most people are trying to say!

Re: Idea or source first?
Idea comes first. I noticed that the work i like the best are the ones where i could visualize the image before i started. If not, browsing for sources influences the final result a lot.
