Photoshop contest - baby birds

An image yet again from scratch, using a scan a texture i made some time ago for the background, and a curly brush, ,for the curls on the side the rest is me,

Just thinking how fragile these animals are so dependant of the world around them, it's scary... there for the hight and de lighting effect a bit of drama never hurts :)

I enjoy palying around with the canvas size, alot of peolple forget this, and it's so strange beacause the size an scale of a canvas makes a big difference in how the picture is "take in", you can really set a mood by using the right canvas size.

Here i chose a long narrow canvas, with the main image at the bottom to accentuate the felling of beeing alone and helpless, completly i need of others to take care of you.

It is simply beautiful, a winner... but you should make it larger. You can still use the same shape, just a bit bigger...
