Was in a "fairy" mood so did this little smth :) Quite happy with the outcome: looks distant..and cold :))
The photo i used belongs to me, everything else is from the given picture :)

Blurring the castle - honestly, I did initially... but it looks better when "crispy". Hey, its a fairy castle, so I let it stay unblurred

Although thanksfor the comment - I did pay attention to the castle: adjusted the saturation, now it looks more "in its place"

Looks really nice! Need to use distort on the crown a bit more, it looks a bit lop-sided/tilted to the left. Also I think another layer of atmosphere between her and the castle would help push it back further.

Original concept, lovely tones. The only thing I might do is lower the opacity of the castle very slightly to blend it in more.

I love this one,looks professional,ust try to remove the black bit behind her shoulder,it doesn't look like a shadow,beautiful picture though,high rate!

) The blue bit is the reflection. I did remove it at first, but then the shiny "fur" looks dull - to my taste - so I returned it and even added a bit more, for an even more "icy" look. If u think it would be better without, i can send u a file without the blue, i think i have it somewhere

Major concept here was to reconstruct the board - it was a lot of cloning.

You were right, it is hard to see the Ant. I would have missed it if it wasn't mentioned in the description.

The bottom, right part of the ring is asymmetrical. The very outside "band" is missing. Makes it look bent

Idea is

, but maybe needs some further attention to the execution. Ants are vèry strong, what if the ant wouldnt drag the ring, but just holds it in the air? Then you can use the ring like in the source (or maybe a bit more rotated clockwise) and perhaps you can see the ant better (i.e. that 2 of the paws are holding the ring). Just an idea. Good luck

Haha, looks

already! Mmm...care to get a few more suggestions? Here they come! (1) Check the depth of field from the picture. The focus point is more above in the pic than where you put the ant&ring. In case you could put them a bit higher, then it looks more like they're "in" the image. (2) Check the shadow from the used ring in the original. You barely see any. So I doubt you need that much shadow for the ring in your entry. And before I forget, good reconstruction from the board

Like the shadow under the ant,but the right ring is not floating,you can place it on something,maybe on the ant's back

Have seen the high resolution image,but just thought about placing it on it's back,since trhe ant is too tiny to carry the ring,just as my opinion,and the ring's angel makes it look a bit like it's falling off her back,i still love the pic though,just going into small details you know xD

Very spooky image. I know you're going for mood, but the shadow under the hand on our right could be lighter, and the edge blurred a bit. Check the masking on the foreground finger...

My comment was to help improve this image. If you think the bad masking on the foreground finger is okay, I don't know what to tell you. (Not to mention that on both hands the rings are on the wrong finger...).

I sat here trying to figure out the story behind this one...and which hand the gun would've come from since it's laying that way...you caught my attention and that's a good thing. Nice work!

PS-Of course this means at some point, I'm going to want to hear the story you intended when you created it.

Like the mood but agree with CMYK's points about the shadow and masking of the finger. I can understand artistically why you would keep the shadow that way, it is dramatic. But improving the masking on the ring finger of the hand in front of the gun would make the image cleaner and get higher marks! We're just trying to help you out!

The masking on the foreground finger is really a detail!! You'll accustom to fantastic CMYK's comments (this time may be he forgot that this is a beginner contest). Anyway he's right. Just want to say that the picture an concept are great!! Only the hand on the right looks a bit over saturated compared to the one on the left and the light on the gun is different compared to the left hand...In syntesis just something wrong on the left hand. Shadows are good
