thanks for the comments, yeah i could have worked a little ahrder on making the patern a little more seamless, but it was late, and i was half falling asleep while i was finishing it... all in all i am happy with the way it turned out ;]

i may go back and fix some of the lines, i can see them better now that my eyes aren't half shut... as for the over exposure... i kinda like a little bit of it, it gives the image a gritty kind of feel, a little more realistic IMO.

Maybe I'm too tired to see the obvious, but please tell me (message) how did you get the right drape and shadows of the original dress onto the pattern? And agree, the seams are insightly and distracting from a good entry.

Thanks for commenting on this. The "pinkish color" on the man and boat was actually deliberate. The concept I was following was that of a dream-like moment, falling asleep while sailing and waking up in this surreal reality, in which basic laws of daylight don't apply... Long story short, just felt more like an allucination as it is.

Nice job. I would have kept some of the foreground grass from the outside source pic and blended it so it looked like she had something to step onto. Also it's a bit too heavy on the brushes IMHO...

Lovely! However, the perspective needs work. The flowers from the source come from too high in the room. To maintain correct perspective, try using flower background from the middle of the source pic. Right now, this little faerie is walking out onto the ceiling, or has a huge drop ahead of her.
