Nice one! A light problem though. Light comes from up right (and in fact also lightens the back from the SheShell), which you do correct enough with her left arm and head, but not with her back. Sure the body under her left arm has some shadow, but it's quite possible if there's also some light shining on her back. For the rest, maybe I would make the plant in front a bit less sharp, but overall well done

Well, I have to say the only thing I don't like is the face, but the rest is wonderfully done and very beautiful. I like the peaceful feeling of this image. Nice job.

ok, i take it back, i just saw the sbs (which i should have looked at first) and noticed that the face was part of the shell and wasn't creative on photoshop...now thats cool.

Jup, nice one! Paws seem to be a bit flat though (also the nails, they're too much next to each other instead of that the one is in front of the other). Suggestion: looks like you used a drop shadow, but that wont work in this image (at least not in high res). Reflection in the water is well blended but he position should be reseen (for example the leg behind is seen completely, while that's not possible in this perspective -> Update: author made improvements

). Some critic, but more important

Great! I know it's too late now, but if you spend some time on shading and highlighting this guy, it'll be way more realistically 3-dimensional, and it will ROCK. Nice work!

i love it but the green colored scales makes it look bad it D= you should use Orange or something like tat because i think that dinos didnt have bright green color

You did a great job, but look at your reflection in the water it is a little bit to clean, there are ripples in the water so make ripples in the reflection, so use it !

This is fantastic!!!! Just lose the drop shadow and use a displacment map to create the rippled refection effect.

Small update fixed the reflection I think

as for the rest unfortunately the dino has been merged down now so no work on him……

Very creative. I don't know whats going on with that one back leg, is it scratching or something? We'll go with that lol. I really like how this came out though. The only thing I would have done differently would be to apply a filter to the background layer to make it look more drawn or cartoonish like the ridgeback.

Great entry, been a lot of work! Next time try keep everything in one style, you could have made the background more looking like the Dino's style (just a hint for future entries

I like it a lot. would say i dont really like the blured background as the actual image is so crisp and good. Recommend changing it with crisper lines.

Oh wow, I saw this on the side bar before and didn't know what contest it was for. Now I see, and you did a really good job, especially for a first attempt. Very creative

I don't like the background so much, the colors don't go well together with the brooch. But still, really good entry.
