Nice, and good entry, although there are a few things: the shadow for his arm is wrong, it should be darker towards the hand and get lighter as it goes down towards the bottom of the painting. Also a few distractions: the arm shadow seems to blend into the eisel frame at the bottom, and the treeline seems to continue off the painting onto the (same) smaller painting on the wall. Maybe either change or get rid of the image on the wall, it's not really adding anything.

Thank you for your comments Optik. I do appreciate the time you spent with your constructive observations...but, I respectfully (and I would underline that word if I could) disagree with your statement on the shadow. The distance and diffusion of the light source determines how the shadow will react. Some shadows show no fade..(you can demonstrate that easily with a flashlight [or torch])...I created a path from the original image's shadow (which did not fade, unless it did so off the canvas itself) and tried to duplicate the effect for my photomanipulation. I lightened the original image by adjusting the Shadow/Highlight sliders to bring out more of the colors..so the light source is not as readily seen. It would have helped if I had included the original image. I apologize. Anyway, please continue to critique my entries whenever you see fit. I do hope to improve along the way...and I do have a long way to go. (by the way, your avatar is fitting for your moniker. Mucas Grassfire, Amigo!

Good job, maybe blur the eagle a tad as it seems a bit crisp considering where it is located; a motion blur would add to the gliding effect. Another thing I just can't help but notice that is throwing me: where is the water from the waterfall going? In my mind, it should be coming straight down the valley into the lake.

The only thing I can pick with this image, and it is small in the overall scheme of this entry, is maybe some shading/shadows missing on the poles in the foreground. Other than that this is perfect.
