I added an aged look to the columns by using a dry earth texture by mikdam (crestock). I also added a road taken from starush (dreamstime) which I proceeded to make nasty and scary looking. The sky and lighting was adapted from a red sunset (freephotos.com) which I warped and painted upon to achieve the affects I desired.
