Wow, nice job. The tight crop works well here. I get a bit lost in two spots though... the first, is the color of the dress - being black it feels like it just turns into a void in the composition. Maybe a different color from your palette would work stronger for the dress? The second is the foreshortening of the legs - the perspective feels awkward in relation to the branch itself.

Good job on this in both concept and execution - very original. Only a couple of things I would consider revising before "going to print" with it - 1. The shadow on the right-hand extends beyond the tree into 'open air' - 2. On the left hand, the fungus on the middle finger is pretty harsh... I would look at toning it down or removing the fungus from that appendage and putting some detail like on the pointer finger - and 3. You appear to be using two actual left-hands If relating the source image to a human figure, I would use both a left and right hand. Nice job overall.
