The planets are alligned! Happy new year? [i dont want to wait another 2 months :P ]

2 Hours work
Made the planets in a 5000 by 5000px workspace making photoshop go mad every now and then.
.PSD filesize before resizing: 122 MB.
.PSD filesize after resizing: 33 MB.

[Techniques used]
Planets: Sperize a texture 200%, add shadow by duplicating+gaussian blur, add atmosphere also by gaussian blur.

Starfield: The usual 'Add noise', diffuse blur etc etc.

Firework: Made it more dramatic and gave it some more color, by editing levels and hue/saturation.
