I'd use a tiny bit of a painting filter on the source leaves (just a low opacity, let's say 25%) and make the leaves a bit more blue (again, just on low opacity).

the fish looks a bit flat. maybe you need to add some distortion to the scale texture for the body to look rounder.

I've tried to make the fish look rounder by adding more shading to the top and bottom of the body. I think it worked. I tried using several distortion methods, but these just made the scales look bigger not rounder.

it looks good. just one thing: considering the shadow that the branch casts, it looks like it's relatively high above the water.. but in the same time the plant's leaves overlap the branch.. you can't have both situations, since the leaves are just right above the waer.. for them to overlap the branch, you'd need the branch to be half sunk in the water. i also think that you should mirror the branch's shadow

Nice try, but I suggest being brave and working with creating the branch under the water. It looks slightly odd just ending at the surface. Trying and failing is better than never having tried at all. Who knows you may learn a skill that people like and ask how you did it.
