Very well done. Nice use of contest image and the sources you found were perfect. High score for that. I don't understand what a fossil lke that would do in a forrest, but still very nice. this is very goos work its there hard storm and flash - light good colours, good perspective, good shadows, good originality, but you can take on the beach shadow of palm, than your image can be more realistic, your sky can be more purple with dark blue and beach can be more yelow or cream and where is rain???

Looks very nice! Might I suggest smudging the smoke over a bit to the right? It's just that it looks like it's coming in front of the palm frond. Otherwise very good.
