Sorry all, for some reason I wasn't logged in when I posted this before, anyways
here's how I made this image.

I created this by using a gradient for the background a couple different cloud
brushes, some water brushes, light beam brushes, lots and lots of layering,
blending and a really cool filter from Digimarc called Flood at flaming pear

hop&plugin=201. I used a Tutorial I found online for the broken glass on the
one billboard, the other billboard is my own artwork. I found all of the images
I use at www.photobucket.com.

The dark pink colour behind the clouds is little loud, i feel, it makes the overall pic artificial, still i liked ur efforts, good job my friend.

The pictures I used are the original source image and a picture of my son. In
one of those bouncing cages, you know the one's you can't get into when your
older or it would explode. LOL! I used Dave Beaman's Ethereal Glow for the
action and that's really about it. I had to really edit the picture of my son
and take out the entire background of the picture though. Sort of a pain in the
you know what to do but I'm happy with the results. The link is to the Glow
action I used just an FYI.

chubzyko ---Yes I only added some text did a text warp and changed the color. Fairly simple but it was interesting to find the right color for the text because of the coloring of the hourglass.

Just a thought I had when I saw the source image. I know it's a bit obnoxious
but it's meant to be that way, FYI. I used two filters when making this,
Dragonfly sinedots, flaming pear's solar cell both sourced incase anyone was
interested.. the explosion is mine.. CC welcome..

This is a picture of my son in cartoon form. I used the original source picture
and a picture of my son and that's about it. I did a quick mask of my son copied
it and pasted it into the picture, softened the edges a bit on his picture and
then applied a cartoon filter, and there you have it.

I used the source image, a few different brushes from obsidian dawn( the clouds
and lightning) The brush I used on the orbs I got from
http://axeraider70.deviantart.com called galactic brushes (awesome brushes
BTW)and did a lot of layering, flames are my own. Comments welcome plz!

All in all looks pretty added-on, sorry. Especially, when adding flames, that is a light source and always needs to interact with the surrounding area, but the is no light effect of the flames or the lightning bolt, (another STRONG light source) on your scene. This gives it a very cut-and-paste look.

Only source used. Figured all of the images so far were focused on the kanga,
so I decided to do something different. Plz comment CC is welcome as it only
helps me to get better at this.

ah originality.. i like.. but as jamie said, it needs more done to the background.. also, some suggestions to make this better.. why don't you get sealife eg. seaweed, fish etc and either make them fit into the picture of make them sillouettes.. going with the sea life idea, you could try to make the roo make a cameo appearance? like for instance, copy its ears as fins, its face as a seahorse face etc.. i dunno.. just throwing ideas out cos i would love to see this develope.. it seems you have yourself a brillian blank canvas to work with.. great job so far

This is really basic, just some adjustments to the hue/saturation, and some Text
with shadowing. That's about it. Enjoy. The saying is one I found on
photobucket, that I made some adjustments to.

For some reason when I saw the image I thought it would make a really cool Eight
ball. I'm including a step by set because there was so much to doing this image.
