I mainly used the pentool and tried to create perspective in some ways by making
things bigger when they're closer and vaguer when they are far away. I used a
gradient map to create the "colors" for this. After that some
adjustment layers and finishing touches.

Ok, small explanation:
This is a character from a book that I'm writing. This digital painting really
looks exactly like how I want him to look (I even amazed myself with it :p )
This painting has over 70 layers so don't misslead by just those few steps,
this was hours of work!

I distorted it very much since I just like to experiment with different effects
in photoshop. When you suddenly think to see huge differences while looking at
the steps that's probably because I duplicated the image and flipped it, then
set it to darken/lighten. When you take a good look at it, you'll see that
that's what happened...
