Lots and lots and lots of layers!

Anti grav sticks the way of future travel. It takes a lot of concentration to

I played around with the lamp until I came up with an interesting shape, then
used the liquify tool. Sourced a nest from sxc.

Layer masks blended together.
I unashamedly followed a tutorial from Advanced Photoshop Magazine. I changed a
few things but was so pleased with the result I thought I would enter to show
what can be achieved and learnt through following a good tutorial. I used 2
source photos the mountains and the strange fishy thing at the bottom of the
image, all the rest was created in Photoshop.
Lots of layer masks and soft brushes. My own source photo of my brother and his
wife.

My first entry. Chopped from source image,flipped horizontally,applied gaussian
blur adjusted levels and curves. Applied shadow under the birds feet to anchor
it to the tree.
